This is a relatively new service that we are offering and it has developed through a number of assignments that we have recently been involved with allied to the interesting property market in which we operate. Often people are too busy to look or wish to remain anonymous (for whatever reason) when acquiring investment or other types of properties to either start of or add to their portfolios. We carry a list of people looking for properties and match their specifications up with other landlords, investors or people wishing to dispose of their properties. These properties could be mortgage or bank repossessions, or simply the property of someone who wants, or has to withdraw from owning this particular property.

Often such properties never actually come to the market or the people currently marketing them have been unsuccessful in obtaining a sale.

This is not an estate agency service, this is a personalised service and we charge the buyer a finder’s fee of 1% plus VAT. Prior to the commencement of the search, the buyer will sign an agreement with Acorn to that effect. Often we have been able to offer our clients substantial savings and great value on any purchases they make, however the fee is only charged actual sales, or sales by the buyer of that property at a later stage.
